Kordja, Aaliyah "AK" Elizabeth, 19, of Totowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Loving daughter of Jennifer Kordja and Luis Heredia Perez. Cherished sister of Raymond Luis and Luis Miguel "Papucho". Beloved niece of Vanessa Kordja, Taylor Kordja, Lauren Porter, and Ashley LoVecchio. Dear granddaughter of the late Raymond Paul Kordja and Georgia Rasa. Cousin to Ailani Skye Lopez.
Born and raised in Totowa, Aaliyah graduated from Passaic Valley High School and was attending medical technical school with plans of becoming a nurse. She was a loving young woman who lived her life to help others. Aaliyah had a love for basketball growing up, and spent her spare time with her brother, cousin, aunts and friends. She truly loved to be with family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 4 - 8 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, 473 Main Street, Little Falls. Please meet directly at church. Terwilliger, Patricia M., 70, of Paterson, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021.
Patricia was the beloved sister of Kathleen O' Brian. She was the cherished aunt of her four loving nieces and nephews: John, Casey, Dawn, and Megan. Patricia was the dear great-aunt of 14 great-nieces and nephews. Patricia was born in Paterson and lived there for most of her life. She was a parishioner of St. James Roman Catholic Church. Patricia loved her family very much and was loved by her family just as much. She will be dearly missed by all in her family, especially by her sister. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa, NJ. Skrabits, Walter, 91, of Little Falls, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Devoted husband of the late Mary (nee Dzaidosh) who passed away in 1999. Walter is survived by two sister-in-laws and will be greatly missed by his four loving nieces and three dear nephews.
Born in Passaic, Walter has been a resident of Little Falls since 1954. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. serving in the Korean War. Walter worked for the Passaic Valley Water Commission in Little Falls for 42 years where he was a supervisor before he retired. Walter was a member of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Little Falls. He was also a member of the VFW Post 6255 in Cedar Grove, Thunder View Hunters of New York, and the 1st Marine Division Association of California. Visiting will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls from 2 PM -3:30 PM. A Burial Service will be held at the funeral home at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to a charity of your choice in Walter's memory. |
