![]() Ruffalo, Edward G., 67, of Cedar Grove, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Loving father of his son James and daughter Alyssa Ruffalo. Born in Paterson, Eddie lived in Cedar Grove all of his life. He was a painter and owned his own business "Make Your House Look New" located in Cedar Grove for 30 years. Eddie was also an avid antique car collector. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 1-4 PM. A service performed by Father Dan Grigassy and Remarks of Remembrance by family and friends will take place at 3 PM.

Pugliano, Anthony F., 80, of Tinton Falls (formerly of Riverdale), passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Devoted husband of the late Lucy Pugliano (nee Manicone) who passed away in 2017. Beloved father of Anthony Pugliano and his wife Sharon, Dina Beckner, Corrine Pacelli, and Anthony Pacelli and his wife Michele. Cherished grandfather of Nicolese, Michael, Biaggio, Ilyssa, Marissa, and Anthony. He was predeceased by his grandson Ryan. Dear brother of the late Joann Bellofatto. Anthony will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Paterson, Anthony moved to Wayne and then to Riverdale where he resided for 10 years before recently moving to Tinton Falls. He was a member of the United States Army serving from 1959-1965. Prior to retiring, Anthony worked for the Wayne Township Water Department. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Lincoln Park. Anthony's family will receive their friends on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 4-8 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park. Please meet directly at church. Disposition will be private. Beloved husband of Karen Campagna (nee Krauts). Loving father of Jimmy and Jessica Campagna. Adoring grandfather to five grandchildren. Dear brother of Raymond Campagna and the late Joseph Campagna. James is also survived by his loving sisters: Mary Lewis, Irene Edison, Robin Redner, Karen Joachim, Louanne Di Pasquale, Linda Grecco, and Georgeann Hansen. James will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Born in Paterson, James lived in Haledon before residing in Hawthorne and then for the past year Lincoln Park. He was a member of the United States Navy, serving from 1975 until 1978. James worked as a chef for Piccolo's Pizza in Paterson, NJ. Portela Jr., Manuel R., 79, of Totowa, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019. Loving husband of Patricia (nee La Bruna). Cherished father of Monica Dybus and her husband Keith. Adoring grandfather of Gianna Dybus. Dear brother of Albert Portela.
Born in Paterson, Manuel lived in Totowa Boro for 57 years. He was employed by Fastbolt Inc. in South Hackensack for 30 years where he worked in sales. Manuel was a parishioner of St. James of the Marches in Totowa. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11:30 am at St. James of the Marches, 410 Totowa Road, Totowa. On October 9, 2019 Roland Jesse Day, loving partner, son, brother, uncle, and cousin passed away at the age of 73 at Lyons VA Hospital in Lyons, New Jersey.
Roland was born on September 23, 1946 in Franklin, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Harry and Pauline Day. He is survived by his loving partner Amy Krzynowski, his sisters: Donna Waker, Suzanne Messelhmer, Doris Barch, Sandra McCormick, Barbara Gaschler, and Joan Bough, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was a roofer by trade. Roland was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was been an active member of the American Legion Post #108 for the past 28 years and has served the legion as a past Post Commander and Adjutant Officer of Little Falls' American Legion Post 108. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, monetary gifts, for his final expenses, would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be sent to Doris Barch, 22 Tanya Circle, Ocean, NJ 07712. Cremation was private to the family. Kosko, Theodore (Ted), 71, of Little Falls, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah (nee Leverett).
Ted was born in Little Falls and lived there all of his life. He attended Montclair State College (now University) where he also received his Master's Degree and was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity. Ted taught math at St. Mary's High School in Rutherford for 7 years before teaching math at Pequannock High School for 37 years. While teaching math at Pequannock High School Ted also coached the Pequannock High School track team. Ted was a member of Calvary Temple International Christian Church in Wayne, NJ. The family will receive their friends on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6-9 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. Pastor Matthew Battista from Calvary Temple International will hold a service that evening at 7:30 PM. If attending the funeral, please meet in the parking lot of Gaita Memorial Home on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ. Gloria Ellen Roome Pezzuti, 80, a longtime resident of Montville, N.J., who was currently residing in Wayne, NJ.; loving partner, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, and friend to all, passed peacefully from this earth on October 2, 2019.
Gloria was known for her beautiful smile, her infectious laugh and all the good deeds she continued to unselfishly do for everyone who knew her. She was extremely spiritual, and her faith was a comfort to her throughout her life. Family was most important, as was the many years spent with her beloved partner, Vincent Passiatore. Her greatest pride and joy was her son, Robert Pezzuti, his wife Audrey and her grand-daughters, Kera and Kelsey. She was fortunate to be able to enjoy the love of the children and grand-children of Vincent. All will miss her shining personality, and the many gifts that went with it. She was predeceased by her loving son Jeffrey and parents, Ella and Larry C. Roome. Beyond her family and friends, she spent many years employed by Plastinetics, Montville, New Jersey until her retirement.
