Pelak, Connie E. (nee Darabaris), 60, of Totowa, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Walter Pelak (2015). Dear sister of Thomas C. Darabaris and his wife Barbara, Ann Marie Robinson, Doris Emond and her husband Jay, Denise Lager and her husband Ira. Loving sister-in-law of Patricia Pelak and Fran Darabaris. Adoring aunt to her nephews Thomas, Daniel, Alex, Matthew, Cole, Taylor, and her niece Emily. 
Born in Paterson, Connie resided in Totowa for 36 years. Before retiring two years ago, Connie worked as a senior customer service representative for WW Grainger, an industrial supply hardware company for 37 years. She was a Passaic County Democratic Committee person in Totowa for many years. Connie served as secretary for the Women Empowered Democratic Organization (WE DO) of Passaic County. She also volunteered many years for the Passaic County Democrats. 
The family will receive their friends on Wednesday, July 31 from 5-9 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. A funeral service officiated by Father Christopher Rozdilski will be held on Thursday, August 1 at 1 PM at Gaita Memorial Home. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.

Philip McCormick

Philip McCormick, 62, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Born in Glen Ridge, Philip was raised and lived most of his life in Little Falls. He worked for the United States Post Office in Teterboro as a maintenance mechanic for 32 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Angels church in Little Falls. Philip loved to travel especially to Las Vegas. Philip was an avid animal lover who cared very much about his family.
​He is survived by his devoted wife Maryann (nee Mazzolani). Loving father to sons Philip S. McCormick and Daniel McCormick and daughter Michelle McCormick. Dear brother of Michael McCormick and Barbara Graber. Philip will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were private to the family.

Kevin T. Gray, 56, of Kinnelon, passed away July 19, 2019. Born and raised in Pompton Plains, Kevin resided in Kinnelon for the past 20 years. Kevin was a Sales Representative at Davis Sporting Goods in Sloatsburg, NY for 15 years. Kevin is survived by his cherished daughter, Marina Distasi-Gray, loving sister, Darlene Gray and her boyfriend, Kurt, caring nephew, Devon, and devoted girlfriend, Melinda K. Distasi. 
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, July 28th from 12 pm - 3pm at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, NJ 07601 or online at www.cancer.org.

James Betts, 89, of Little Falls, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his son's home in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Born in Paterson, NJ to the late Christ and Sylvia Betts. James was the beloved husband of the late Parthena Critides for 60 years. James was the devoted father to the late Diane Betts, Yvonne Goldman and her husband Bernard, Paul Betts, George Betts and his wife Marisa. Cherished grandfather to Robert Goldman and his wife Yujia, Deanna Goldman, Cameron Betts and Gianna Betts. Loving uncle to Christine Microutsicos and her husband Dean, William Sarris and his wife Liz, Peter Sarris, Stephen Betts and his wife Terri, Thomas Betts and his wife Dona Grace. James served in the US Navy aboard the USS Cambria. James was a graduate of Rutgers University in 1954 and retired from the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) in 1995. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652. Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home during visiting hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. The family will receive their friends Sunday, July 14 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Trisagion will be said at 7:30 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ. Please meet directly at church. Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
