Donald Pulicicchio Sr., age 84, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Donald lived in Manchester, NJ and was formerly of Little Falls, and West Paterson, NJ, and proudly served with the Coast Guard during the Korean War. Don was an auto mechanic by trade, owning his own business for many years.
Donald was a loving family man and enjoyed many passions, particularly golf, cooking, riding his Harley and working in his garden with his dog Rosie by his side. He is survived by his wife Rosemary (nee Durino), his daughter Marylynn Caruso and husband Paul, and his son Donald Pulicicchio, Jr. and his honey Margie Ferner. He was adored by his grandchildren: Jessica and husband Will, Amanda, Jillian and Natalie, as well as his beloved sister Jean Tomes and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his brother Joseph. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 4-8 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, NJ. There will be a service officiated by Monsignor Mark Condon from Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church at 6:30 PM. Rose Reuter, 91, a long time resident of Little Falls, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Roanoke, Va.
Rose was born September 24, 1927 in New York, moved to Little Falls, New Jersey to raise her family, and moved once again to Roanoke, Virginia to be near her daughter, Susan. Cherished wife of Robert Reuter, beloved mother of Karen Reuter Kozlowski and Susan Reuter, and precious grandmother to Eden Fabbo, Anton Fabbo, Erin Wynd, Damon Fabbo, Adrienne Wynd, and Simone Fabbo. Outgoing and sassy, she was known and loved by many, and never met a stranger. She was a long time parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Angels church in Little Falls. She is survived by her daughter, Susan, her son-in-law, James Wynd, and her 6 grandchildren. The family will receive their friends on Thursday, May 30th from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, NJ. He is survived by: wife Rose, daughter Monica and her wife Naomi, step-son Michael and his wife Andrea, step-daughter Patricia and her husband Ralph, and six grandchildren- Michael, Raquelle, Isabella, Nicholas, Domenic, and Sebastian. He is also survived by his brother Tomas, sisters Teodora and Amparo, more than 20 nieces and nephews, and many friends.
John was born in Muro de Agreda, Spain to Gumersindo and Valentina. He emigrated to the United States in the 1950s and ultimately settled in Wayne, NJ. He retired from Montclair State University after more than 25 years of service. He was a lifelong aficionado of literature, blackjack, and soccer both as a player and a fan. Born in Jordan, Salim lived in Jersey City prior to moving to Fords 24 years ago. Salim worked as a truck driver for NJ Transport in Linden for 7 years.
