Albert Demee Jousset Jr., 71, of Clifton passed away on the morning of August 31, 2020. Albert was born and raised in Dover, New Hampshire as the eldest of five siblings to Albert Jousset and Grace Leary. In 1971 he studied History and English at William Penn College and in 1978 attended Virginia Theological Seminary. Albert had an extensive career as both a teacher and more notably as an Episcopal minister for the Diocese of Newark for over 25 years. He primarily worked for St. David's in Kinnelon, All Saints in Leonia, and Christ Church in Ridgewood where he was renowned for his dedication and leadership. Albert was awarded the Bishops Certificate of Merit as well as the Bishops Canterbury Scholar Award. Later in his life Albert served his time to working as a hospice companion to patients through Bayada Hospice.
Albert is survived by his children, Todd and his wife Carmen Jousset, Courtney and her husband Ryan Hayes, and Alexandra and her partner Chris Mulvey. He was the beloved and devoted grandfather to Luke and Addison Hayes and Jackie, Zachary, and Andrew Jousset and survived by his loving sisters and brother Sherry Fortuna, Gay Roy, and Jefferey Jousset. He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Grace and brother Timothy. Albert enjoyed reading, history, and baseball (go Red Sox!) He will be remembered for being a dedicated clergy member but most of all a devoted and very loving parent and grandparent. He had a dynamic sense of humor and a great compassion for all walks of life and everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Due to Covid regulations at this time, services will be arranged at a later date that will be announced.

Slawinksi, Richard, 54, of Woodbridge, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Beloved husband of Dana Rizzi-Slawinski. Dear brother of Stanley Slawinski, Heidi Garcia, and Diane Bernard. Richard was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Richard was born and grew up in Elizabeth, NJ. He has been a resident of Woodbridge for the past four years. Richard was a cabinet maker and worked for Diversified Fixture, a cabinet making company in Lakewood, NJ.
The family will receive their friends from 4-8 PM on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, NJ 07424. A service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 PM with Fr. Dan Grigassy from St. Bonaventure's Church officiating. Masks are required inside the building. Santucci, Louise K. (nee Meyers), 83, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Fairfield, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Devoted mother of Joseph Santucci Jr. and his wife Caryn, Amy Santucci, and the late Elizabeth Santucci-Zaccaro. Beloved grandmother of Stephanie Zaccaro, Samantha Zaccaro, Katlyn Zaccaro, Amanda Santucci, Ava Santucci, Joseph Santucci, Matthew Santucci, and Nicholas Del Sontro. Proud great-grandmother of two great-grandchildren.
Louise was born and grew up in Passaic, NJ and then resided in Fairfield for 50 years. She worked as a police dispatcher for the North Caldwell Police Department for 10 years. Louise was a parishioner of St. Thomas Moore RC Church in Fairfield. Arrangements were private to the family. ![]() Fiore, Giovannina (Palatucci), 85, of Little Falls passed away peacefully after her battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Devoted wife of the late Michele S. Fiore (2004). Loving mother of Stanley Fiore, Pasquale Fiore, Louise Fawzi and Joann Nardelli. Cherished grandmother of Pasquale Fiore Jr, Katelynn Fiore, Alyse Smith, Michael Fiore, Laura Fawzi, Leah Fawzi, Antonio Nardelli and loving great grandmother to Cora Smith. Born in Avellino, province of Montella, Italy, Giovannina and her brother Angelo sailed to America for a better life. She met her husband at church who had also come from Italy by boat. Her sewing skills got her work as a seamstress. Her love for gardening had everything she touched blooming and she loved sharing her fresh produce with friends and family. She was an avid walker around town, to the local parks and many friends and acquaintances just knew her. She also is a member of the Little Falls Golden Agers Club in Little Falls and enjoyed camaraderie there. Her skills in the kitchen earns her the best ever chef title from all lucky enough to have enjoyed her cooking. Her lasagna is Out Of This World amazing for every holiday and will be missed. Mom or Nonna as she is known will be missed by all her friends and family. She has a heart of gold...always there for everyone and put everyone first. Due to Covid19 there will be limited viewing. Haden III, William J., 70, of Clifton, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Devoted husband of Petronila Ramos-Haden. Loving father of Matthew Bautista and his wife Virginia, Patricia Gonyou and her husband Thomas, and Peggy Lambe and her husband Thomas. Dear brother of Brian Haden and his wife Jo Anne, Dr. Theresa (Terry) Litchfield and her husband Peter, Marilyn Kreel, Mary Sierchio and her husband Robert, Jill Malanga and her husband George, and Gloria Haden-Vero and her husband Peter Margo. Adored grandfather of five grandchildren. William will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Born in Orange, NJ, William grew up in Cedar Grove and lived there for 50 years. He then resided in Bloomfield before moving to Clifton six years ago. William is an United States Army Veteran, serving from 1969-1971. He served in the Vietnam War as a Sergeant of Communications. William worked in truck delivery for Opic Wines through the Teamster Union 863 of Glen Rock. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Catherine's of Siena RC Church, 339 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009. |
