![]() Paletta-Wright, Nicole C., 39, of Hawthorne, passed away on January 9, 2021. Beloved wife of Michael C. Wright. Cherished mother of Collin J. Wright. Loving daughter of Suzanne Paletta (nee Kanyok)and the late Joseph Paletta. Dearest sister of Stephanie Galizia and her husband Ralph. Nicole was born in Ridgewood and grew up and lived in Hawthorne her whole life. She was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Her son was the light of her life and her favorite role was being a mom. The family will receive their friends on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 2 - 5 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, NJ. Masks are required to enter the building. Mary was a long time resident of Little Falls, living there for 101 years. She worked as an Inspector for Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Bloomfield. Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Little Falls as well as a member of St. Anne's Altar Society. Cherished father of Vasili Ablaschai and his wife Michele and Natasha Andrews and her husband Jim. Adored grandfather of five grandchildren. Born in Austria, Vasili lived in Brazil before moving to Paterson, NJ 58 years ago. He was a self-employed truck driver. Beloved wife of Joseph Agresti. Devoted and loving mother of Maria Agresti. Dear aunt of a niece and two nephews.
Arlene was born in Passaic, and grew up in Clifton. She moved to Woodland Park when she was 40 years old and lived there for about 18 years before moving back to Clifton. Arlene taught in the Clifton School District for 36 years before retiring in 2014. She was a member of the Clifton Board of Education from 2011-2018 where she served as the Vice-President. Arlene was a member of the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) and was very active in the Clifton Teacher's Association where she served as Treasurer. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure's Roman Catholic Church in Paterson. Arlene loved her trips to Atlantic City and always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 4- 8 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 10:15 AM at St. Bonaventure's Roman Catholic Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Please meet directly at church. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton.
