Norman, Anna E. (nee Henderson), 91, of Little Falls, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family.
Devoted wife of the late Charles W. Norman who passed away in 1992. Loving mother of Anna Guinn. Cherished grandmother of Katie Martin and Casey Guinn. Beloved great-grandmother of Sabrina Riley and John Martin. Dear sister of Virginia Cook. Born in Paterson, Anna lived in Little Falls for 64 years. She was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10 AM at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa, NJ. Please meet directly at the cemetery.

Gerald (Jerry) William Hunter entered into eternal life on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the age of 74. Born in Paterson, NJ on November 30, 1945, he was raised by his mother Ellen (Bayda) Hunter and moved to Little Falls at the age of two years old. He was a graduate of Passaic Valley High School and William Paterson University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. His lifelong dream of becoming a police officer was fulfilled in 1974, when he joined the Little Falls Police Department. Over the course of thirty five years, he moved up the ranks starting his career as a special officer and ending his career in the position of Chief of Police in 2009. He was a member of the Honor Legion and the Passaic County Police Chiefs Association. Jerry always took great pride in his role in law enforcement and left his mark in protecting and serving the community he loved. He was a special friend and mentor to many. Jerry made people feel like they mattered whether he was in their presence for a few seconds or several hours. He was a kind, compassionate and humble man who will be missed by many.
He was predeceased by his mother, Ellen (Bayda) Hunter and his brother Kenneth. Jerry leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Claire, who was the love of his life. Devoted father of his three cherished daughters, Christina Hutto and her husband Peter, Kathleen Hunter-Cascio and her husband James, and Jennifer Korman and her husband Seth. Adored Pop-Pop of Christopher and Victoria Babcock (along with their father George Babcock), Gianna and John Hutto, and Tyler, Alexander and Evan Korman, who will all miss his smile and sense of humor. Dear brother in law of Kathleen and Michael Jakubas. Loving uncle to Michael and Jessica Jakubas with their daughter Ava, and Janine and Herb Brychta. Loving nephew of Marie Bayda and Nancy Bayda, along with several cousins. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, 473 Main Street, Little Falls. Please remember masks must be worn inside the building. Schlosser, Elizabeth A., (nee Purn), 58, of Little Falls, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family.
Liz as she was known to her family and friends is survived by her devoted husband Dennis Schlosser. Loving mother of three daughters: Kelly Kelly and her husband Billy, Christine Schlosser and her boyfriend John Fox, Erin Schlosser and her boyfriend Pat Abate, and one son Michael Schlosser. Beloved daughter of the late Warren and Helen Purn. Dear sister of Robert Purn, William Purn and his wife Donna, Warren Purn and his partner Erica Zicchinelli, Janet Purn, Kathleen Guzman and her husband Julio, Karen Lake and her husband Greg, and Mary Marzullo and her husband Michael. Cherished daughter-in-law of Loretta Schlosser and the late Arthur Schlosser. Liz will be dearly missed by her brother and sister in laws as well as her many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, Elizabeth was raised in Clifton before residing in Little Falls for the past 33 years. She was a parishioner of Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell. Liz was a devoted mom who was happiest relaxing at home with her family and loved when her four children were all in one place. She enjoyed trips to the beach and adored her two cats "Brother" and "Sister". Elizabeth greatly enjoyed dinner, drinks, and watching her children's sports with her close-knit group of friends the "Mom Squad". Above all else, her family was always her top priority. Liz will not only be missed by her family but by her many friends and all those who knew her. Her family will receive their friends Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 4-8 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls.
