I had the honor to hunt with Walt over the last 7 years. He was always nice to me and a fun guy to talk with. He was also a dear friend to my various family members from the 1950's until his death. He was very proud to be a Marine and loved our Country... Rest in Peace my friend.

I meet Walter while working at PVWC and became good friends from there. I guess it’s been 45 yrs and it was certainly a positive friendship.

Hey Ted, it is Ray's son Terry. I spoke with Wally on the phone just three days before he left us. He did not sound well but he told my wife and I that he was anxious to be going home from the hospital and that he would have someone help him there.

I had the pleasure of being in Walter's company via the Thunder View Hunting Club. That outer shell of a man had heart of gold and kindness. He mad me and my family very welcome whenever we were together and I will cherish those times.
