![]() William J. Scarnaty (Billy Who) of Woodland Park, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020. He is predeceased by his loving parents, William and Marie Scarnaty. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Scarnaty. He was a beloved father to Bill Scarnaty, Joe Scarnaty and his wife Kathy, Darla Palmesino and her husband Richard, Kristin Karam and her husband Kamal, and Nicole Almazi and her husband Joe. Dear brother to Peter Scarnaty, Raymond Scarnaty, Rosemarie Guarente, and the late Francis Scarnaty. He was an adored Pop-Pop to his 12 grandchildren: Billy and Alyssa Scarnaty; Matthew, Nicholas, and Rachel Scarnaty; Michael and Jacqueline Palmesino; Marissa, Lia, and Jax Almazi; and Kadin and Kyin Karam. He was a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews and a great friend to all who will miss him dearly. William was a lifelong resident of New Jersey and grew up in Paterson. He was a carpenter, bartender, and restaurant/bar owner. Services will be delayed at this time and decided at a later date. Because of the care William received in the hospital, donations can be made to the St. Joseph's Hospital GoFundMe page through the Scarnaty family or to any charity of your choice in William's honor. My Brother Billy one of the Best Brothers anyone can have Growing up in Paterson ,,always one of the best dressed men . Always loved to danced the latest dance steps and always did it his Way. He fought a great battle for two years in and out of hospitals and his wife Nancy by his side , Billy I love you and will miss you so much RIP Brother some day We will all be together

R I P I'll always remember the many nights in Billy who's until closing. I'll never forget working with you in the construction field with 1hr Chimney when you would pick me up and lecture me every morning about getting my life together.Many many good times you were one of the few stand up guys I ever met.
