Louis Luzzi, Junior, 79, of Little Falls, New Jersey, has passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Lincoln Park Renaissance Home, surrounded by his loving family. Lou was born in Paterson and a lifetime resident of Little Falls, a graduate of Passaic Valley High School and then from Delta State College and also enlisted in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, Lou came back to Little Falls and worked in the Little Falls District as a substitute teacher. Lou also bartended at the Elm Room for many years and then went on and bartended at TP's Pub. Lou was very passionate about music- Janis Joplin, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones and his sports- the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, and the New York Rangers were his favorite teams. Some of his hobbies included bowling and going to the racetrack. He had a favorite horse named Secretariat! He even married the love of his life at the racetrack! Lou was a very loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather, and most of all- the best loving husband anyone can ask for. Louis is predeceased by his father, Louis Luzzi Senior, his mother, Mary Luzzi and his brother Frank Luzzi. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Marion C. Luzzi (Anthony). Devoted father to daughter Jami Mahon and her husband Steve Mahon, son Joseph Santoro, daughter Tina Gallipoli and her husband Frank (Cheech) Gallipoli, daughter Tami Raymond and her husband Jay Raymond (Like) and daughter Mickey Byrne. Cherished grandfather to Frankie Gallipoli, Giovanni Gallipoli, Melissa Mahon-Garra, Jessica Mahon Hogan, Lisa Mahon, Genella Santoro, Dante Santoro, Tiana Raymond, Alexander Raymond, Maximus Raymond, Annmarie Campinello. Great grandfather to his great grandchildren Janya Gallipoli, Mateo Santoro, Daniella Garra, Isabella Hogan, Jionni Anthony, and Gemma Anthony. Louis was the great great grandfather of Samarah Rodriguez. Family and friends are welcome to gather at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, NJ between 4-6 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2024. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org or by mail at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated. Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home during visiting hours for your convenience.
