Jose "Pilo" Dipini, from Paterson, NJ, a beloved figure in the mental health care system, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication to improving the lives of others.
Born to Alberto Dipini and Lucy Dipini (nee Rivera), Jose was a cherished son and sibling. He is survived by his mother Lucy, twin sons Jacob and Zachary, and Takye King Artist. In addition, he leaves behind his brother Albert Dipini, and sisters Alba Mitchell and Rosa Dipini, all of whom mourn his loss deeply. He is preceded by his father Alberto, sister Lucy Dipini, and brother Angel Dipini. Throughout his career, Jose served as a beacon of hope for countless individuals struggling with mental health challenges. His tireless efforts at Collaborative Support Programs and the Mental Health Association of Essex County touched the lives of many, providing support, guidance, and understanding to those in need. Jose will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to helping others lead better lives. He leaves behind a community profoundly grateful for his contributions and deeply saddened by his passing. Though he may be gone, his impact will continue to be felt for years to come. Rest in peace, Jose Dipini.
