Today our Shop From Home family will never be the same. I am so sadden by this news. I worked with Liz for over 10 years. She played a big part in our department.
Liz always loved sharing stories and photos of her kids with us. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family. Liz was truly a family woman.
I'm going to miss seeing your diet coke cup from quick chek at work. Were all going to miss your brownies & sweets you made us around the Holidays. But most of all I'm truly going to miss YOU! We will all cherish your memories in our hearts. Shine on! 💜🙏

My brother started dating Liz when I was 10years old and she has been like a sister to me ever since. I grew up watching her be a hard worker, an amazing daughter in law to my parents, great wife and mostly an extraordinary mother. She helped shape me into the mother I am today as I was constantly asking her for parenting advice. I love her kids like my own and I was so blessed to have had her as my sister. When you and Dennis chose me to be Christine’s godmother I made a promise to you and I will honor that promise and watch over all of your kids as I know you would have done for me... Liz you will be missed more then you could ever know...Rest In Peace ❤️

What to say about the somewhat shy 25 year old lady who came into our lives 36 years ago. Liz helped Dennis make his career choice in law enforcement and stood behind him during some turbulent times and shift changes and always had a meal waiting for him at home while she held down the fort with their children.
As for children, she adapted to motherhood in an amazing way setting guidelines (and enforcing them) resulting in beautiful strong, loving and kind adults. As only her mother in law, she completely trusted me with them over the years. How many women would allow grandparents to take her children from the age of 2 to a beach house next to an ocean and a pool 12 hours away? Oh how I loved those times.
The saddest thing now is that you will not be here physically for your children to help them through and enjoy the next stages of their lives but know that your wit and words of wisdom will carry on - just not with you at the helm. I know you are in a beautiful and peaceful and pain free heaven - I just wish your time to go there was not now - not yet. You leave behind a life well lived and I thank you for having been a part of it..

Liz may you rest in the sweetest of peace. I had no idea you were ill. I will miss seeing you in shop rite and quick chek and hearing about Dennis and your kids. I know you will always be guiding them from heaven with your heart. Watch over all of your mom friends who I know are hurting now too. You touched so many lives! Fly high with the angels.

Dear Liz,
you left way too early. We can't find words to express our mourning. May the lord give you a new home in a better world without pain and sadness. And may he also guide your family through this hard time and dry their tears. Sepp & Irene

Thank you all for your love and support. My mom was the best, and for those of you that knew her, you saw how hard she worked, how much she loved, and how selfless she was towards her family and her friends. She will be missed and Christine, Erin, Michael and I were the luckiest kids to grow up with a mom like, “Zil.” As much as it hurts, we know you are still with us and you will always be a part of everything we do.
We are so incredibly grateful for all that you have done for us. She’s the glue that kept our family together. Zil would always take me to my dance competitions, no matter how far away they were, even driving in NYC (which she didn’t love to do). She was always there for Christine’s soccer games and swim meets. My mom was always there to cheer Erin on at Girls Show, going to Dress Rehearsal and waiting for hours in the cold to get a good seat. And we all know she’s Mike’s biggest fan and she loves to be at every single one of his football games. I don’t know how she did it, but she also managed to take care of my Dad while supporting each of us as we grew up, and grew older. Dinner is at 5:00 and she somehow always had it ready to go.
We know that you’ll be with us forever and we will always have the best memories of you. No one does a shopping trip to Target better than Zil. Going to Disney and taking trips to Myrtle Beach were the best vacations together. My mom would always call us and ask if we wanted to go to lunch with her or if we all wanted to join her at Cheesecake Factory for happy hour. She always got a kick out of us all singing and dancing around the living room, even though we usually got yelled at at some point.
There are too many memories and too many stories to share...but at the end of the day, one thing is clear--my mom loved spending time with her kids and family and she loved it when we were all in one place, together, at home. That’s where we’ll be when we think of her and reminisce about her, and that’s where we will always love and remember our mom forever. We love you so much Zil, and we know you will be with us always. With time, we’re gonna be ok.

Perfectly said Kel..there wasn’t a dry eye in the church after you had the strength to speak from your heart. A beautiful tribute to a strong woman by her strong children that she will continue to give strength to everyday of your lives❤️
