She met Rick, married and started her family. She worked alongside her husband at their business Boni Vision Care for many years. Her dedication and caring nature brightened the lives of many. Marianne enjoyed all things entertainment. She loved Broadway and was fortunate to enjoy many shows through the years. She was never behind on an episode of Seinfeld, Below Deck or any of her Bravo TV favorites, most likely watching with at least one purring cat in her lap. Away from home, Marianne loved to attend Yankee games, partly for the game and partly for the hot dogs. She made friends wherever she went. With a passion for music, she attended a remarkable number of Barry Manilow concerts, proclaiming herself the ultimate "Fanilow". She also loved the beach. She looked forward to taking the kids each summer and relaxing by the seashore. Above all, she loved her family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She leaves her children Richard Lyons, DVM and his wife Evin Lyons, DVM and Emily Lyons; her grandson Nathaniel Lyons; her brother Frank DeGrezia and his wife Maria DeGrezia; her nephew Thomas DeGrezia and his wife Sue DeGrezia and their two daughters; her former spouse and friend Rick Lyons; and many more relatives and friends. Her parents; her brother Gary DeGrezia and her partner Fabio Trippodo passed before her.

Grammar school friends help shape who we are as adults. Marianne’s sense of humor, love of life and playful nature was something I’ll always treasure. May she rest peacefully.
