Martinez, Rozalia (nee Nyisztor), 67, of Little Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Wilfred J. Martinez. Devoted mother of Tina Zawistowski and her husband Mark, Erika Di Palma and her husband Andrew, and Renee Fantasia and her husband Donald. Adored grandmother of Andrew Di Palma, Nicholas Di Palma, Anthony Di Palma, Ava Fantasia, and Alana Fantasia. Cherished daughter of Istvan Nyisztor. Dear sister of Steve Nyisztor and his wife Denise, Gyongyi Kocak and her husband John, and Nancy Carella and her husband Paul.
Born in Hungary, Rozalia came to the United States in 1956 at just three years old. She grew up in Cliffside Park before moving to Little Falls where she lived for the past 33 years. Rozalia was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church in Little Falls. She worked as a server for Frungillo Catering in Little Falls but her favorite role was being a mother to her three girls.
A "Celebration of Rozalia's Life” will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 5-9 PM at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, 473 Main St., Little Falls. Please meet directly at church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (Envelopes will be provided during visitation hours) or at www.stjude.org

Mom,
