Robbin entered eternal heavenly rest surrounded by loving family and adoring friends. She would have had it no other way.
She was the daughter of the late John Sardinsky and Dorothy Shark Sardinsky, and is now reunited with her older sister, Patricia Sardinsky Lentine. She is mourned by her loving husband of 38 years, Allen, and their daughter, Courtney Mix Press and her husband, Matthew Press, of Hoboken, her sister, Darlene Sardinsky, her nieces, Melissa Lentine Strauss, and her husband Jamie, and Emily Esposito, her nephews, Timothy Lentine, and his wife Deanna, and Noah Esposito. Missing her infectious sense of humor will be her grand-nephew Dillon Strauss, and her bevy of grand-nieces: Morgan and Devyn Strauss and Gianna, Briella and Sofia Lentine. A proud member of the Passaic Valley High School graduating class of 1973, Robbin attended the County College of Morris, and became a Registered Dental Assistant for 30 years with Dr. Roger Warren, a Clifton periodontist. In 2005, she retired and partnered with Melissa to open Everything Dance, a dancewear boutique in Caldwell which served the needs of dancers of all types and ages until 2015, at which time she retired due to health reasons. Her family was the pride of her life, especially her husband and daughter, a former dancer who performed over 100 times with New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center. They were legendary travelers, saw the world from Germany to Tahiti, and were as comfortable at a bistro in Paris, a pub in London as a local “all the way” hot dog stand. The family will have a memorial gathering for those wishing to join them at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, from 4 – 8pm, Thursday, March 1. A memorial service celebrating Robbin’s life, accomplishments and amazing spirit is being planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Robbin’s memory to the John M. Lonsky Scholarship Foundation, and sent care of the Mix Family at 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, NJ 07424.

Robin introduced me to the music of Bruce Springsteen in 1978, singing Rosalita in Belmar!!! We had a great time at the Jersey shore. We lost touch but I remember her fondly. My condolences to Alan, Courtney and her family!

I was Robbin's sale rep at her Dance Store, she was one of my favorites! We would spend an hour working on orders and 2 hours chatting over coffee and donuts. She absolutely loved the friendships she made along the way, her customers became her friends. She loved talking about her "girls nights", her dogs, family and always gushed about her daughter (especially all the wedding prep)...We lost a great fighter, she will be missed! xoxo Caprice
